The read API

Browse from the database, trade against the chain.

Everything the app displays comes from an indexer that reads the chain and writes to Postgres. It is public, unauthenticated and read only.

One endpoint is different

/quote goes to the chain, not to the database. A number somebody is about to sign a transaction against must not come from a cache that may be a block behind. Everything else is served from the index, because browsing does not need that guarantee and the chain should not be asked to serve a feed.

The websocket

Connect to /ws for new launches and new trades as they are indexed. It is a push of what the feed already shows, so an app can stay current without polling.
