Buyback and burn

Where the platform fee goes, and what changes when the beta ends.

70% of the platform fee buys FRONTRUN on the open market and burns it. 30% funds the team. The burn reduces supply, and anyone can check the result on chain rather than taking our word for it.

This is a beta arrangement

FRONTRUN today is a token we launched on Pons, since Frontrun did not exist yet. It is the buyback target only while Frontrun is in beta.

When the beta ends we will launch the official token here, on our own curve, on the same terms every other coin gets. The buyback moves to it permanently at that point, and the coins launched during the beta keep trading exactly as they are.

Why buy rather than distribute

A buyback returns protocol revenue to everyone holding the token at once, without anyone having to claim anything, and without us keeping a list of who is owed what. Burning what it buys makes the effect permanent instead of parking supply somewhere it can come back from.
