Launch lifecycle

From creation to a locked pool, and what is fixed at each step.

A launch costs 0.0005 ETH plus gas and goes through three states.

1. On the curve

The full supply of one billion tokens mints to a bonding curve. Buying moves the price up, selling moves it down, and everything happens against the curve rather than against other traders. 30% of the supply is held back from the curve for the pool that opens later.

2. Graduation

When the curve has taken in 6.9 ETH it closes for good. Everything raised, plus the reserved supply, opens a Uniswap v4 pool. The LP position is locked permanently. The creator cannot withdraw it, and neither can we.

Every launch on the same settings graduates into a pool of the same size at the same price. Pool depth is not something a creator gets to choose.

3. Trading in the pool

After graduation the coin trades on Uniswap v4 like any other token, with our fee hook attached. The pool itself charges no Uniswap fee on top, so the rate you pay is the same before and after graduation.

Fixed at creation, forever

  • Supply, and the fact that it is fixed
  • The pricing curve and the graduation threshold
  • The asset it is paired against
  • The creator fee rate, and whether it decays
  • The logo, name and symbol, which are written into the token itself
